Our mission
WD Storm is dedicated to providing young athletes with the skills, knowledge, and character development necessary for success in baseball and softball. We strive to create a positive and supportive environment where players can reach their full potential. We aim to prepare athletes for the next level of competition while instilling values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and dedication.
Why WD Storm?
WD Storm stands out due to our commitment to player development, experienced coaching staff, and a supportive team environment. We are most proud of the positive impact we have on our players, helping them grow both as athletes and individuals. Our organization fosters a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and community involvement.
Year-round commitment separates the serious from the casual. While rec leagues might run March through June, our travel organizations operate 9 months a year. Fall schedule of games and tournaments, winter indoor work, spring training games and workouts , and summer games create a lifestyle, not just a hobby. Our teams take time to decompress and refresh the end of July through August and November and December.
Typical Family Commitments
When families enter the travel baseball organizations world, they’re not just signing up their kid for baseball. They’re restructuring their entire family calendar around the sport.
We consider ourselves families so each player learns to respect their teammates like a brother or a sister.
